2010 CSR Forum of China’s Pharmaceutical Enterprise, sponsored jointly by Chinese Medical Culture Seminar, China Medical Newspaper, Beijing Pharmaceutical Industry Association and Sohu Health Channel, has been grandly held in China Hall of Science and Technology on April 18th. The heads of the state ministries from SASAC of the State Council, China Federation of Trade Unions and SFDA (State Food and Drug Administration) have presented “CSR Ruziniu Award of China’s Pharmaceutical Enterprise in 2009” to winning units. 51 enterprises, such as Fosun Pharmaceutical, Novartis, Sinopharm and Yapei (China), have been nominated, and this is the second award won by Fosun Pharmaceutical after 2008.

Fosun Pharmaceutical has jointly singed “Beijing Consensus” with hundreds of participating enterprises for a purpose of promoting Pharmaceutical CSR (corporation social responsibilities) of China.

On this forum, the research group of Pharmaceutical CSR (corporation social responsibilities) of China has released “Investigation Report on Current State of China‘s Pharmaceutical CSR, and Pro. Sun Jirong, chief expert of CSR Development Center of “WTO Economic Herald” under the Ministry of Commerce, has presented the report of “Current State and Development Trend of Pharmaceutical CSR (corporation social responsibilities) of China, and Mr. Sun Qiuhua, Secretary General of Shanghai Pharmaceutical Association, has reported development state of Pharmaceutical CSR (corporation social responsibilities) in Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta to participating representatives, and Ms. Liu Juan, as Associate Editor of Sohu Health, has reported relevant data of the cyber citizens’ attention to Pharmaceutical CSR (corporation social responsibilities) of our country in the forum.
